As I have mentioned before, as of right now there aren’t so many games for the One. Well, here comes some bad news…

Bad News Barack

Next Gen Elder Scrolls Online has been pushed back.

Originally planed to come out in June (two months after the PC), it has now been set to come of late this year instead.

Around 6 months is what they are thinking. Citing this- ” but we are still working to solve a series of unique problems specific to those platforms. Integrating our systems with each console manufacturer’s networks has been a challenging process” as their reason.

Which to be fair, that’s a decent reason. And as a consolation they offer a pretty good deal.

“Anyone who purchases and plays the PC/Mac version of The Elder Scrolls Online by the end of June will have the opportunity to transfer their character(s) to either console version.

And, you don’t have to pay full price for the game twice. For $20, eligible PC and Mac players will have the option to add a full, digital version of ESO on either the PS4 or the Xbox One with your character transfer(s), and another 30 days of included game time.”

So buy it for the PC, play around, switch when the console comes out, and get to keep your characters. See? Sounds like a good deal.

So as bad as I want to be mad and impatient about this, I think I’ll just find something else to fill my time and be grateful that they are not putting up an undone game.

So you may have noticed the lack of post right now. Sure I could whip up some editorial on something random. But really I can’t bring myself to.

Really all I’m doing right now is sitting;twiddling my thumbs just waiting.

Granted, Elder Scrolls Online is now out for the PC, so I will be getting that as soon as I can.

But besides that, there’s been nothing I am too interested in.

Here is the list of upcoming games for the One.

  1. Lego Hobbit 4/8
  2. Kinect Rivals 4/8
  3. Trials Fusion 4/15
  4. Amazing Spiderman 2 4/29
  5. Wolfenstein 5/20
  6. Watch Dogs 5/27
  7. Murdered Soul Suspect 6/3
  8. Elder Scrolls Online 6/30
  9. Sniper Elite 3 7/1
  10. Evil Within 8/26
  11. The Crew 8/31
  12. Batman Arkham Knight 10/14
  13. Lords of the Fallen 12/31
  14. Assassin Creed Unity 12/31
  15. Alien Isolation 12/31
  16. Evolve 12/31
  17. Dying Light
  18. Madden 2015
  19. The Witcher 3
  20. Destiny
  21. Mad Max
  22. Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor

Right now there are 22 Xbox one titles scheduled to come out compared to 20 for the 360. Out of the Ones 22 only 7 of those are exclusive to the One. (Keep in mind I’m not talking Microsoft vs Sony just One vs 360)

I don’t know if we’re just becoming spoiled and impatient (I’m pretty sure that is a lot of it) or if its just taking too long for things to come out. (Also games that have come out that just weren’t as good as we wanted them to be)

And most people on my friends list seem to be content just watching TV on their Xbox.

This is what it seems like.

So yes, I am just going on a rant about how there are not enough games being made AND that people aren’t playing as much as they should.

A little bratty? Maybe. Completely true? I obviously feel so.

To make matters even worse there are plenty of titles out for the 360 that me and many others would love to play on the One.

People come into Gamestop all the time asking if we have a copy of GTA5 for the One. No..No we don’t. Wished we did, but it’s not a thing.

So here we are in limbo, just waiting and hoping.

Cue stock photo

Ok, well thats most of my rant. Feel free to join in. Anything you wish they would move to the One? What game are you waiting for? What are you doing to pass the time?

GG! And may the games be ever in you favor.

I have been an Elder Scrolls fan for awhile. Morrowind was actually one of the first games I really got into playing. (that and Halo for the first Xbox)

So needless to say the idea of taking all the things I love about Elder Scrolls and mixing it together with all my friends (all both of them)

So enter Elder Scrolls Online—

Love the logo…Tattoo idea?

Josh signed up for the beta awhile ago. And so far we got into 4 of the dates. First, Josh played. Second and third Zach played. And this last one, I finally play. And since non-disclosure agreement has now been dropped, I can share the pictures I managed to get.

First I have to apologize. I have a short attention span. Don’t expect to be able to gather any story from what pictures I have.

That being said I still had an amazing time. Everything felt great starting out. So familiar but new too.

This beta also let you play any race and faction. So I was a Wood Elf sorcerer that was a part of the Ebonheart pact. (Why? Because I’m the mother of dragons, that’s why.)

Normal division–

  • The Aldmeri Dominion, (represented by a eagle), High elf, Wood elf, and Khajiit
  • the Daggerfall Covenant (represented by a lion), composed of Bretons, Redguards, and Orcs
  • the Ebonheart Pact (represented by a dragon), composed of Nords, Dark elf and Argonians

True to Elder Scrolls fashion, you start off locked in a cell with some mystical force talking and someone letting you free.

From there you run through the cave talking to those you meet along the way, including this jolly fellow.

Pot Head...get it?

Pot Head…get it?

Around here you meet up with a woman who you team up with to escape this place and to free this mystical force known as the prophet.

eso9Now of course there is something to fight. Why? I don’t know, everything is too pretty for me to care about what these people are saying.

eso1eso4AHHH! I don’t even care if I die I just want to stand here and stare at this.

After all of the intro, your reward is this guy–

eso6Now here is the best part, after saving him (spoil alert..)

and after the woman you were with, sacrifices herself, the kindly prophet basically tells you to go figure your life out by yourself.

Go make some friends or something–

Now I’m sure some more things will be tweaked or more dialogue added but really most things are already pretty great.

As if the inside of the caves weren’t pretty enough, one step outside and I just want to stay here forever.

I had a few more picture of the lovely giant mushrooms but they were too dark to really see anything.

But here’s the part I love the most. Seeing real people running around right beside me. In the world just a few minutes, and I got a friend request.

eso7Also here with all these people running around. I didn’t experience any lag. Actually I had very few technical problems this whole experience.

Now in the city, there were a few things to do. There was an ad for the Fighters Guild, a war going on, a guard that needed help making a choice, one guy who wanted me to go fight his ancestors and some other spirits to free.

During the time I played, there’s not many of these quests I actually completed. I spent most of my time running and jumping around…Sometimes just following real people to see what they were up to.

eso11And thus concludes my time spent in the beta. I’ll admit there was probably a lot of lore I missed. But can you blame me? I mean after two years of waiting and planning, I was too excited to really focus.

But only a few more months to wait. Release date is in June. However as far as I know that was the last beta to be available, so now were all just back to waiting…

So many things to look forward too…

ADDED–also to hold you over in the mean time go here to access a skill calculator to go ahead and plan out your character. Feel free to share your builds here!

So heres the thing, I eat…a lot. I eat far more than the guys in my house. I’m just a fan of food.

Yeah, that about sums it up.

So when my boyfriend hit me with the odd fact that the fine people over at Ben and Jerry’s actually have small funeral services for its discontinued flavors; I wanted to see if my favorite childhood flavor was RIP-ing. (I would get it at the Ben Jerry’s scoop shop at the beach all the time)

Imagine my surprise when I found out not only was it not discontinued, but was now being sold in pints at grocery stores. I jump on the store locator, found out where to buy it, and set out to relive my childhood. And it was awesooooome!

Why with my Jake Adventure Time hat? Because I love it.

Why pictured with my Jake Adventure Time hat? Because I love it.

Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz. Its no surprise to anyone, I’m sure that I love coffee and thats why I love this. It is coffee ice cream with espresso bean fudge chunks which taste like chocolate covered coffee beans (a taste I love)

So please for the love of ice cream, check out the Ben and Jerry’s website to look at their other Flavors and pick yourself up something tasty today.

Mega Stuf Oreos

Is America the land of excess? Maybe. Does it lead to some awesome things sometimes? Definitely.

*pictured three cookies not one just a fyi

*These are the triple layers

I’ll admit the mega stuf cream really just taste like vanilla flavored butter, but somehow I still love it.

They also have Cookie Dough, Mint, Lemon, Berry, Peanut Butter, Marshmallow Crispy, and Chocolate flavors. Most of those I am a bit weary about. But hey, to each his own.

Now onto the Elder Scrolls Online news

If you have read anything ESO, you might know they have been giving out beta codes occasionally for scheduled testing.

Just in case you dont know, you can now get a code, no problem by going to and registering for one. Registration is free and you immediately get your code.

You then simply follow the links given to redeem your code (this code will be your user ID and your redeem code) and start downloading the client so you can hopefully play this weekend.

I’ve already gotten my code and will be downloading it tonight (well during the day while I sleep…dont judge me) as not to interfere with the guys online gaming.

If you do in fact get in and play, don’t tell me how it goes…Non-disclosure agreement and all. So don’t expect to hear much more on this. The first rule of beta testing-don’t talk about the beta testing

2nd place winner of the Elder Scrolls Online poster challenge: Alba Palacio, from Spain

There has been a lot of great news lately of games to look forward to. One downfall of the Xbox One so far is the lack of things to play on it right now (which can be said for both next-gen systems) But never fear, not all hope is lost. While some good games are just around the corner, off in the distance, wonderful things can be seen.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Playing as a ranger with Wraith abilities, this action RPG looks amazing. It is definitely number one on my list. Ever a Lord of the Rings fan, I look forward to running around Middle Earth. And speaking of running around, this game has a lot of Assassins Creed elements to it. Running, jumping around and being sneaky; not really my forte, but I’ll deal. One thing that has to be said-ITS SO PRETTY! It is slated to come out sometime in 2014. So in the mean time, here is a 8 min look at what they have.

See? Amazing, right? Also it has the same writer as Red Dead Redemption, which was a wonderful and captivating game.
And now the second great thing–

The Elder Scrolls Online
Really, I feel like this doesn’t even need a explanation on how awesome it will be. It everything you have ever loved about any Elder Scrolls game…Online. But for the sake of bothering to put it up here, I’ll elaborate. It is an MMO set in the great continent of Tamriel. It will be set before the events of Skyrim, Morrowind and Oblivion. As per usual in MMO’s there will be plenty of questing and events. There are 9 races split between 3 factions. Also this is coming out a little sooner–June 2014. Heres a quick look.

Still not sold? Take a look at the Imperial Edition.
Pure pure awesomeness.
So that’s it the two biggest things I am looking forward to, and now hopefully you are as well.
