As I have mentioned before, as of right now there aren’t so many games for the One. Well, here comes some bad news…
Next Gen Elder Scrolls Online has been pushed back.
Originally planed to come out in June (two months after the PC), it has now been set to come of late this year instead.
Around 6 months is what they are thinking. Citing this- ” but we are still working to solve a series of unique problems specific to those platforms. Integrating our systems with each console manufacturer’s networks has been a challenging process” as their reason.
Which to be fair, that’s a decent reason. And as a consolation they offer a pretty good deal.
“Anyone who purchases and plays the PC/Mac version of The Elder Scrolls Online by the end of June will have the opportunity to transfer their character(s) to either console version.
And, you don’t have to pay full price for the game twice. For $20, eligible PC and Mac players will have the option to add a full, digital version of ESO on either the PS4 or the Xbox One with your character transfer(s), and another 30 days of included game time.”
So buy it for the PC, play around, switch when the console comes out, and get to keep your characters. See? Sounds like a good deal.
So as bad as I want to be mad and impatient about this, I think I’ll just find something else to fill my time and be grateful that they are not putting up an undone game.
