Fangirl Friday–New Stuff!!!

I am a multi-faceted fangirl and I am always looking for new things to be a fan of. Always learning, always studying, and always, well…having to buy things.

While things in my commune haven’t been going wonderfully on the financial front, there are a lot of thing to work for. So now that bills are paid, there’s nothing left to do but start saving for all the great games coming out to be a fan of.

Thief – 2/25/14 us 2/28/14 eu

Sneaky Sneaky

I’m not huge on trying to sneak in video games. I usually am a shock and awe tactic person. But this game looks amazing.

Set in a steampunk-ish Victorian age, this game is a reboot of the cult classic Thief franchise that originally started in 1998.

While personally, I wasn’t an original fan, I am hooked on this now. I am counting down the days and planing my trade ins to make sure this can be mine asap.

Why its great—

See? Looks and sounds great. Speaking of sound, they decided to go with a new voice for the main character, Garrett, “since they recorded his voice and movement at the same time using a full performance capture technique. The actor playing Garrett needed to be able to perform his own stunts”

Thief comes out very soon, but you should go ahead a preorder it from the GameStop

The Evil Within – 8/26/14

*Announcer Voice* In a world where all games are just sequels and lacking in horror, one game arises to fill the void–

Dat Lighting!

The Evil Within (Known as Psychobreak in Japan) is a single player horror game directed by Shinji Mikami, who also directed Resident Evil and the humorous Shadows of the Damned.

Shinji Mikami himself says “Not much has changed when it comes to instilling terror in the player. But…they know what’s coming next, so in that sense it is harder to make them afraid.”

But this game promises to bring it all. Small spaces, limited resources, intricate story, traps, scary monsters and more.

Nothing Weird Going On Here

Playing as a detective who was sent to investigate a gruesome murder how was attacked and blacked out only to awake in a twisted world. Your main goal is to make it through alive and to find answers.

And as if playing a normal horror game wasn’t hard enough, in this you can turn of the tutorial, health bar, and interaction icon.

Nope!

So if you’re a fan of horror game and want to be scared please check this game out.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros 3/18/2014

Ill admit the only Metal Gear game I’ve played was Peacewalker on the PSP. Lucky for me this game takes place right after that and will have some of the same characters.

Ground Zeros will serve as a prologue to their next game, The Phantom Pain. Which both will be using the Fox Engine–

Once again I’ll say I usually don’t do sneaky sneaky, but this is great looking. And it will be the first Metal Gear Solid to introduce an open world adventure.

While its rumored to be a short game, since its leading up to the next. This still seems to have plenty to keep you busy.  With multiple missions and side quests and the fact that you don’t have to be sneaky, this is going to be incredible.

Sadly one cool bit of news only applies to the PS3 and PS4. But on these consoles you will be able to play in de ja vu missions.

Well everything else is looking great though. Time to get some trades together and go shopping. Not too much longer before there’s some great thing to take up my time.

I will keep you guys posted on any other games coming out soon but this was my list for the time being. Thanks again for reading you guys are great!!

GG!
